Nicaragua Days : The Road to Masaya

     These photos are from a trip I took the town of Masaya.  This particular journey really made me appreciate the world we live in. As I passed through small towns or villages, I got this overwhelming feeling of love and community the natives share, dispite their poverty and unfortunate luck.  Everywhere I looked the locals always seem to have a smile on thier face, childeren run and play in dirt covered sidewalks with only sticks as their toys, happy as can be.  Men Caballeros riding home from no doubt a very long hard day of work, on their Ox or horse driven carts with a fresh bounty of bananas or sugar cane.  An amazing place, that brings a tear to my heart.

Nicaragua days, San Juan Del Sur

Sorry havn't updated lately, Nicaragua doesn't have the best internet. These photos are from a trip I took to San Juan Del sur, for a few nights. The first photo is the view from my patio at the "Pelican Eyes" Hotel. The rest are the from the journey to the statue of Christ that overlooks the town of San Juan Del Sur and acts as it's protector.
